B&Q agree lease on new Bedford development

January 2012

B&Q have agreed a lease (subject to planning) for a new 56,810 sq ft DIY store, including a builders yard and garden centre, which will be built at Interchange Park, Bedford.

It is part of proposals submitted for planning by HPG Developments on 23rd December which will also include a car showroom, employment and starter units.

HPG will build the scheme on the 8.3 acre site near Bedford. The green field site is zoned for commercial development and was purchased by HPG from the Southill Estate last year.  ...

Awards Success for Cambridge Developers

HPG Developments has come runner up in two catagories of the Industrial Agents Society 2011 awards. The company was nominated for the Best Overall Scheme in the commercial property sector and for Developer of the Year.

Agents appointed for Interchange Park scheme

August 2011

Savills and Brown & Lee have been appointed to market HPG's development site at Interchange Park near Bedford.

The 9.5 acre site was acquired last year. Planning consent has been granted for 110,000 sq ft of employment buildings and a car showroom.

Haverhill development gets approval

May 2011

HPG Developments, part of the Cambridge based Howard Group, has gained planning approval from St Edmundsbury Borough Council's development control committee for its Hamlet Green development in Haverhill.

The scheme is to be built on the former 6.5 acre Workspace Office Solutions site on Ehringshausen Way. The site was purchased by the Howard Group in 2008. Planning permission has been granted for 11 business start-up units, nine warehouses, three bulky goods retail units, a Wickes builders merchant and a drive-thru family restaurant.

Local and London commercial agents attended the launch of new commercial units by HPG Developments at the Raynham Road Industrial Estate in Bishop's Stortford on May 10th.

The Raynham Road Estate, owned by the Howard Group for the past 9 years, is undergoing a major redevelopment programme. HPG Developments, the development arm of the Howard Group in Cambridge, has acquired an 8.3 acre site on Interchange Park near Bedford.

The green field site is zoned for commercial development and was purchased from the Southill Estate. Planning consent has been granted  for 110,000 sq ft of employment buildings and a car showroom.

Profile Lighting take new Raynham Road unit

Profile Lighting Services are the latest company to agree terms on a 12,500 sq ft new-build unit at Raynham Road Industrial Estate in Bishop's Stortford.

Local companies begin work on redevelopment scheme

Two leading family-owned businesses in the region are working together on a major commercial redevelopment project at Raynham Road Industrial Estate, Bishops Stortford.

Cambridge-based HPG Developments, part of the Howard Group who has owned the industrial estate for the past 9 years, has appointed R G Carter as main contractors to carry out construction work on new industrial units as part of a redevelopment programme for the estate.
