New Investment Manager for HSi

In line with HSi's growth strategy the investors have appointed an Investment Manager - Charlie Rickard.

Charlie's role will focus around providing financial support to the HSi investors for current and future HSi investments.  More specifically Charlie's role will include identifying new opportunities, internal due diligence, managing the transaction process, integrating new businesses into HSi, supporting management and investors to maximise value, managing investment exits, developing and continually improving financial reporting and controls.

Charlie joined HSi in January 2010 with a background of transaction advisory, due diligence and commercial finance.  After qualifying as an ACA with Baker Tilly in 2000 he worked for KPMG for 5 years primarily in the Transaction Services team.  He has worked with Private Equity houses, corporates, high street and investment banks on a wide range of acquisitions, refinancing and public listings.  He then joined DS Smith plc - plastics division, a global packaging manufacturer, managing international M&A activity, commercial projects and head office finances.  Immediately prior to HSi Charlie was Group Financial Controller for Richmond Villages, a high growth private equity backed developer and operator of retirement villages.

The HSi investors are delighted with the appointment and look forward to another phase of development of the HSi Investment Portfolio.
