Cambridge based Howard Group's building services companies engaged on local projects
A T Jones and Fenland Roofing have recently completed a project working for Sawston contractors Morgan Ashurst on a new 330 sq m science wing for Sawston Village College. Fenland Roofing has installed a 10-year guarantee single ply roofing system whilst A T Jones have been involved with the interior fit out, including specialist spray plastering. Both companies completed the project on schedule.
Also in Cambridge, Fenland Roofing has been working on the NAPP Laboratories Phase 1 expansion at Cambridge Science Park. This major project for new build laboratories and offices totalling 4000 sq m, consists of three buildings of modern architectural design. Fenland, who worked with architects Aukett Fitzroy Robinson on the roofing at the design stage of the project, installed a 20-year guarantee high performance single ply roofing system comprising of metal deck, tapered insulation and Sarnafil membrane. SDC Builders are the main contractors.
Dale Jones, Chairman of the interiors group, commented on the projects. "We are delighted to be working on these two very important projects and for such well established contractors. In recent years the group has acquired A T Jones of Fareham, Advanced Interiors of Wokingham, Adex Interiors, Hemel Hempstead and Fenland Roofing in Cambridge. Several other acquisitions are currently advancing within the building services sector.
