HOWARD SANDCLIFFE ACQUIRES BUILDING PRODUCTS GROUP IN £4.4M DEAL

Howard Sandcliffe has acquired A T Jones & Son Limited of Fareham, a specialist supplier of dry lining and high value suspended ceiling solutions. The business supplies partitioning systems into major construction projects such as hospitals, schools and office schemes and lists many of the UK's major contractors as its clients.

The transaction, valued at £4.3 million, is the first deal for Howard Sandcliffe, formed during 2006, a joint venture with The Howard Group and Sandcliffe Investments. Funding was provided by Bank of Scotland, Cambridge. Howard Sandcliffe was advised by Mazars Corporate Finance and Hewitsons solicitors.

The deal also included the purchase of A T Jones head office in Fareham. Dale Jones has been appointed as Managing Director and will work with Howard Sandcliffe to grow the business.
