PACE MOVE INTO MILTON KEYNES DEVELOPMENT

PACE Europe, part of international electronics group, PACE Worldwide has acquired a new 20,000 sq ft warehouse and office building at Knowlhill, Milton Keynes. The unit forms part of a 2 acre scheme by developers The Howard Property Group.  

With offices worldwide, PACE is a recognised global leader in the development of solutions for the assembly and repair of highly advanced electronics. The new building will form a pivotal base for much of their UK distribution. "We are delighted to have agreed the sale to an existing Milton Keynes business and one that has such a high profile", reports Nicholas Bewes, MD at Howards. "PACE was looking for a new building with central distribution for its UK business to support its continued growth and Knowlhill was seen as a good choice."  

The site, acquired from English Partnerships, also consists of 12,000 sq ft of new high quality office space. Units are attracting considerable interest and have been designed primarily for freehold sale, although there may also be an opportunity for letting. Office unit size will be flexible, ranging from 1,500 sq ft to 6,000 sq ft.  

Local agents Bidwells together with Douglas Duff have been appointed as joint marketing agents for the office accommodation and negotiations are already underway for several of the units with other parties expressing interest in the scheme.
